I wish I could give this place five stars twice. Kehoe's Agate Shop is a place of wonder, and the service there has been nothing but impeccable, every single time I've visited. Their selection of rocks and minerals is expansive, both decorative and functional, and the setting is quaint and charming. Leslie Kehoe and the other wonderful ladies that work there take COVID-19 seriously, and kindly ask guests to please sanitize hands and wear a mask upon entering, which I appreciate SO much, having a preexisting condition as well as loved ones to watch out for. This has taken some folks aback, but Leslie has offered for guests who wish to not wear a mask, to schedule a time to come in before the store opens so that they can shop unmasked, without affecting anyone else's safety. So, aside from being extremely thoughtful and considerate, the staff is also very happy and willing to pull out any pieces you'd like to see closer, and to share their wealth of enthusiasm and knowledge about their wonderful inventory. Definitely visit Kehoe's Agate Shop if you're around!!!

Well I finally made it to this rock shop and WOW! Incredible pieces, and some very knowledgeable and friendly people . I just got to say though the funniest thing happened. I was there with my friend who is studying jewelry making a metalsmithing, and she really wanted really tiny loose gems that she found in a bowl inside the display case with all the fancy expensive jewelry, and when she asked how much they were-she was told they weren't for sale. Trust me I'm not complaining .. I assume any business that's been around that long definitely knows what they're doing, but it was hilarious to me when we got in the car that out of the 10 million rocks that were there, she wanted the ones that weren't for sale. 😂 We laughed about it all the way home. But I got four beautiful rocks!

Driving to the shop you would think it would be in someone’s garage because of the neighborhood you go through. but as you turn the corner there is the cutest Little Rock shop. All set up in gallery form this shop is a milestone see! Inside you’ll find small trinkets, fine jewelry and displays of so many beautiful finds. We even saw a petrified bear skeleton and that was absolutely stunning. The prices range from out of many people’s price range to a couple dollars for a cute stone of fossil. I’d say it’s a must stop for sure. I’d give it 5 stars but the rock shops I love are the ones that don’t have 1,000 show cases for their things. I’m more of a hole in the wall girl with a pile of rocks in the back of a truck kind of girl. So do with this information as you will.

I have been shopping at Kehoes since I was a wee little girl, searching for Navajo rings, Montana sapphire earrings or small agate animals. As I got older, and had my own money to spend, I started collecting a special piece of high end jewelry every summer. 45 years later, and not only do I count Leslie, the incredible owner, as one of my dearest friends, but also I still find the same joy every summer as I did as a child, searching for my summer treasure. Sometimes it’s an item for the house, like a fossil or agate object, but usually it’s some fabulous piece of jewelry that gives me joy every time I wear it. A trip to Kehoes ALWAYS leaves you with a smile!!

I also very much appreciate the mask policy. As a mother of a child with immunity issues, the mask policy means I can shop without worrying about catching a deadly...

Although this store carries some amazing specimens and their prices are reasonable, I have to share my sadness and disbelief when I saw how many precious, one of a kind crystals had been drilled into and had tasteless birds and animals permanently adhered to them. I was shocked. Some of the most beautiful quartz formations, now with holes drilled into its beautiful structure with a duck super glued to it. If you believe in the power of these elements you’re selling then you would believe that this destroys their frequency too. These precious stones which are magnificent just as they are, have been forever damaged because of someone’s selfish take on how they want them to be. Leave them to their natural state and let buyers destroy them on their own terms if they so...
