The owners and all the staff at Triple D treated their animals and us photographers like gold. Their animals both looked and behaved like they are well loved and well cared for. That is a Number 1 priority for Triple D and it shows.

As a professional photographer with serious spine issues, I cannot so much as hike a slope, let alone traverse remote and difficult terrain like a healthy National Geographic photographer sent out on location. Yet, I absolutely love nature and wildlife. I treasure every moment when wildlife comes to me or when nature delivers unique, unexpected gifts. Enter Triple D. A beautiful place to be.

Everyone at Triple D, from owners to caretakers to handlers, very obviously care about the animals and vice versa. You can see the relationships that have developed between the staff and animals. There is a heartfelt connection and respect between them.

This is a professional and caring business. I grew as a person and as a photographer in the time I spent with these experienced individuals and their beautiful animals. I cannot thank them enough for their hospitality, kindness, and most of all, for the obvious respect they have...

I would like to thank all at Triple D for a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome by the owner and all the staff. We were able to photograph a variety of animals in number of settings. Wellbeing of the animals and safety always came first, the animals dictated how long a shoot lasted and were never forced to continue or pressured to return to their accommodation or travel crates. Having been around a bit, I have seen some bad practices in animal handling and care. However, these handlers showed nothing but love and respect for the animals in their charge, and this was clearly reciprocated by the animals themselves. Shamefully, this place commercializes "wildlife" photography by providing an illusion of nature whereas in reality animals there are treated cruelly and kept in terrible conditions.

The owners have declawed a tiger named Hershey, illegally bred animals and hid their site "the Back 40” from government inspectors, an employee shot a mountain lion kitten for a taxidermist, etc.

Do yourself a favor and read a recent Rolling Stone article about them, just Google it.

The owners of this place are liars, only interested in your money, they don't care about animals. Disgusting.
