My first purchase at Weller’s certainly won’t be my last - they are a GREAT dealership. I Iove the small town feel and hospitality, and to get away from the SLC crowds. Rich Weller and his staff are very friendly and professional, and go out of their way to make it a good buying experience.
Their showroom is large and organized, and their shop is huge and clean. Large parking lot and a place in the back for a test drive (no one has that anymore). As for fees during this COVID environment, many dealers are charging extra fees to take advantage of the high demand and low supply of vehicles- but not Weller’s. They only charged a $150 doc fee and NO freight/destination charges or assembly charges (I bought a Maverick X3, so it had to be assembled), the same as always. I talked to Rich about it and he said he and his brother strive for long-term relationships and didn’t want to jeopardize that by charging more during this crazy time. I really respect their integrity and their focus on building relationships (not just a quick sale).
Weller’s does the little things well - my vehicle was spotlessly cleaned and prepped - a thing of beauty! I live an hour from the dealership so they did the paperwork in advance and emailed it to me, so when I arrived I just had to sign (Amy was great to work with!). Rich spent about 20 minutes with me and walked me through all the main features of the machine (no dealer had ever taken the time to do that)! I even met Darin who runs the service area for some questions, and he knew my name from prepping my vehicle. They are all very friendly and make you feel very valued, not just a number - feels like family!
Sorry this was a long review, but it’s been a long time since I’ve been “wowed” by a company’s service. Weller’s really knows how to do it right! I’ll be back; well worth the...
Read moreRidiculous wait times. I am very happy with my 2023 Can am outlander max limited 1000r that I purchased through Weller's. I am very happy with the fact that they stored my Can-am inside their warehouse once they had received it. I do wish that they would have at least given me a full tank of gas in my Can-am when I picked it up. I would have liked to see some sort of compensation for the 9 and a half months that I have waited for my machine to get here. I am pretty disappointed that every time I called Weller's looking for any updates or if they had heard anything on my Can-am they just kept giving me excuses for why it wasn't ordered or why it wasn't here yet. I will say I will purchase through Weller's again if the time delay issue gets resolved, but I will never buy from Karl Malone Powersports for anything after the way they treated me when I tried to order a 2022 Can am outlander max limited 1000r through them a year ago. When they had received the original 2022 that I had ordered through them it was missing the gauge cluster and key for the Can-am and I was told that I would have to wait for the parts to show up. But the issue I had was that they were not willing to store it inside and they just left it outside to sun rot while I waited for parts to come in. I had asked them numerous times to store it inside or to put a cover on it or to compensate for the sun damage being done with it being stored outside uncovered in the sun. They told me they couldn't do that so I then went to Weller's and they met my expectation of it being stored inside if it showed up with...
Read moreVery dissatisfied with this company. Took my Rzr to get a new motor put in. When I went in to get my Rzr they had not even tightened the valve cover, head lights no longer worked and had cut the wire to my under glow. They told me that the under glow had power to them so the LED's had gone out. That's when I informed them that there was no way they were getting power as the wire was cut right where the battery was. The valve cover was hand tightened and they had no explanation for that.
When I took my Rzr riding that weekend I could tell something was off with it. When I took a closer look they had ran my vent line over my exhaust and it was melted. I was also spewing oil out of the over flow. When I checked the oil it was an inch and a half high. Then I noticed my tires where lose. They had only hand tightened the wheel hub assembly and they where about to fall off.
When I confronted them to inform them they wanted me to bring it back. I had told them when I picked it up it was going to Sand Hollow for Rock crawling. There was no way to take it back. They were very difficult to work with and any time I brought up something they did wrong they got extremely defensive.
I'm very knowledgable on how my machine works and how to fix things. I do guide rides in Moab, Ut. I wasn't someone who didn't know what I was talking about and can't stand when people talk back to me as if I don't know mechanics of my machine.
I would NEVER recommend anyone taking their items to this place. Some of the things they hand tightened could have cost me my life with the...
