All ReStores are great! Nowhere else in the country can you find such things as they sell! They have reclaimed home-building or decorating items from built-ins to desks and tables to shelves and cabinets, and new or used stoves, microwaves, sinks, tubs. They have paint to doorknobs, doors to flooring, tile of all kinds to windows. And it all changes, whenever they get more donations in, which is often!
Items come from construction companies that have leftovers, or who received the wrong color or style of item, or from people who redecorate or rebuild their kitchens, baths, dining rooms, etc., and reclaim what can be salvaged to reuse by others. Anyone can donate extras to them, too, and proceeds go to help build Habitat For Humanity homes. We have found and purchased all sorts of things, like perfect reclaimed cabinets, a refrigerator, paint, flooring, wood trim, and dimensional lumber of various types to use in projects, and much more.
Want church pews to create a sanctuary building in your backyard? Want a pink or blue toilet and sink? Want desks to set up for your little students to have a place to do their homework with fewer distractions? Want lumber to build a gazebo or other project? Want unique tiles for your kitchen, or expensive countertop materials at rock bottom prices to build that kitchen island you always wanted? Want a 5 gallon bucket of paint at 1 gallon prices or less? ReStore is the place for you.
I strongly recommend anyone check out a ReStore (or several, because each gets different items all the time) often! You can find a new...
Read moreWhat a disappointment! It's been about a year since I've visited this store. This past Saturday I went looking for a door and some paint. In the past it was very busy on Saturday afternoon. You could find so many bargains. Prices were very reasonable, affordable, and discounted. A good deal was always there. This time there were maybe 10 cars in parking lot. Walking inside and I saw a few shoppers. I looked around, the pricing was hit or miss! Majority of items were price close to retail. I found the doors and they were priced $200 and more. I looked at paint and the "used and partially full" gallons were $11, there was new paint for $17 which was actually a decent price compared to retail. I ended up going to a large hardware store and got a brand new door for $180. What is going on? The economy is tanking and these discount stores prices are out of line. They could easily sell at a great price and sell quantity and easily make more money and keep happy customers. I realize now how the CEO can get a outrageous bonus last year. No joke, look it up. The company does a lot of good things for communities in...
Read moreI love Habitat Restore. But I don't think I'll be back to this location. The manager is a real jerk. I heard him make deals with others but today 3/8/24 just because he could he took a hard stance on a cabinet that was out in the rain. And I'm pretty sure it's been there for a while. I've been told new arrivals sell for the price listed. Okay I get it. I was also told deals can be made for items that have been there for some time. This cabinet has been there for some time judging by all the water damage to the wood (see pictures) So just because I can, and I have 47k people who read my reviews. I'm an Elite Yelp member too. I'm giving this place a 1 start review. I offered $5.00. nope. I offered $10.00, nope. I offered $15.00, nope. I could buy a small metal filing for $10.00. This Mr. wonderful manager was rude and made me pay $20.00. This won't stop me from supporting Habitat For Humanity. But I will not go back to...
