This is one of those rare places where you go, together soul food products this tour covers everything from traditional but mainly has a lot of soul food items that are used in cooking from the Afro American culture pig feet pig ears slab bacon smoked neckbones ham hocks and things of that nature collard greens but also carry a lot of the traditional products that Americans use I was in the Kansas City area around the 8th of September and shop there on the recommendation of my in-laws who told me they carry all the things that I do not get here in Salina Kansas boy was I surprised for that I stock up I have a lot of good cooking to do for a lot of products for soul food if you're cooking during the holiday season and you're in that area or even if it's just a small drive this is the place to go to get all of those items that go into cooking a traditional soul food meal thank...

I am soooooo disappointed in this store. My mom had been looking all over the city for Turkey Pastrami..we had no luck. She is disabled and call this store to see if they had the pastrami she had been looking for..she spoke to Alex (meat dept) he said yes. She then advised him to be certain that he had it on hand and to make sure it was the brand Jennie-o. He confirmed it was and gave her the price..instead of waiting till days later, I decided to drive 40mins to pick it up, only to get there and be handed Oscar Meyer Salami...wth!! I said are u Alex, he said yes, I said this is not the brand nor the item I just heard her confirm with u over the phn...his response was this is all we have. Smh. Sad...this is why ppl dont support hood establishments. This...

This store has been around at least 50yrs. It was the very first Walmart designed store before Walmart existed. It used to be on Noland Rd. It had automotive services, furniture, clothing. The whole cow and pig would be hanging from rack like a meat factory. You could purchase every part of the meat you wanted. It's still one of the only stores you can still get whole uncut slab bacon (they will slice). You may purchase a whole hogs head during the holidays. One of the few stores left to purchase meat by the bulk at a great price. Thank you Happy Foods Wild Woody for all your yes of service for our community. P.S. forgot the best part. cashiers are "always "friendly" and "courteous ", and that always guarantee a return...
