Walking into this bargain store was unsettling. Right at the entrance, they have the Alligator Alcatraz flag on display; a symbol tied to racism and discrimination. That alone sends the message that not everyone is welcome here.
Inside, the treatment matched the flag: cold, unwelcoming, and clearly different depending on who you are. Racism doesnât always come as words; sometimes itâs in the stares, the silence, or being treated like you donât belong.
If this type of behavior were aimed at white customers, this store wouldnât last a day. I honestly canât believe people even shop here, though from the looks of it, theyâre not making much money anyway.
