Kelly went above and beyond to make us feel special and more than welcome... It started with the little things like how pleasant he was to book a tee time with. When we were ready to play, he started us on 10 to avoid a backup. We made the turn in 1.5 hours. Played 1, then hit a backup on 2. I called the pro shop to see what happened, and Kelly said he'll sort it out. Did he ever... I wasn't sure what to expect when I made that call. I just wanted him to know that we hit the backup that he was trying to help us avoid. Instead of a slow finishing 9 though, Kelly came out and cleared the way for us. He met us on 4 tee and said he talked with the groups in front and they were going to let us play through. Talk about a great course marshal... It doesn't get much better than that. Thanks to some friendly golfers with good etiquette we were able to finish our round in 3 hours. To cap off the great service, Kelly met us in the parking lot with a cold bottle of water. I'm very impressed with how professional he was and how welcome he made us feel. I will definitely be driving past the closer courses because of this experience. Phenomenal course and all-around golf experience.

The course conditions are almost always excellent, especially when its been raining. This course handles water better than any other course within ~100mi of Portland (much better than Stone Creek or even Langdon).

All of the staff are super friendly - pro shop, marshalls, all of the staff.

This course is one of the only places in the region (outside of country clubs) where you can hit off grass at the driving range.

The course is also very walkable, I am disabled and struggle with big hills, but this place is flat enough that walking is a piece of cake.

Also very affordable considering the quality of the course

All things considered I would rate this course 4.4/5 in the summer and 4.8/5 in the winter... its probably the best winter course in the...

Wow what a rude (hopefully not head pro) in the golf shop. First time coming here, arrived just before 6pm to go walk a few holes before dark at 7. Initially he tells me he’d have to charge me for 9 and that I’d only be able to get in 3 or 4....of course that’s all I want to do! Then he kind of huffs and says well I’m out of here at 630, and continues to groan about letting me go out. Didn’t tell the guy but I’m an ex golf industry professional and have worked on some of the best golf clubs in the country, including two ranked in the top ten of the US, and I’ve never seen such poor service toward a golfer. Only gave it a 2 star instead of 1 because I didn’t get to putt on the greens, but judging by the look from the lot they didn’t look like they were rolling that...
