my husband and I stopped in the winery on a sat , at first when we got there no cars i walked around the side of building the downstairs bar area which was cool but very visible with two people sitting at the bar a bartender, we ask how much a draft was that 8 ounce glass of beer , was $6, I tried the raspberry beer it is for any lady, delicious, the atmosphere was very professional and business, I tend to liven up the place when I walk into a facility, I feel that if there was a sign highlighting the place more professional company , but since they're in a small town where there are places where the beer is only 2.50 a draft, is going to make their establishment not a favorite . most of people from around the lakes are Backwoods people like them lower prices, there was a wedding coming in and we did not want to stay we're coming in in the bartender scene however before we left we ordered a pizza Jim's Pizza From Kendallville was frozen and warmed up ,not bad tasty pizza has them beat by far ,all in all for an appetizer with five beers and the pizza came to $51 plus a $5 tip, it would be a great place to hold a wedding, if you have a lot of older people in the wedding just know there's a huge amount of stairs to climb an elevator? I did not notice . the barns trussels inside side look like a huge ship ship , the place appear to be very clean and well maintained, I would advise it for anyone that is having a wedding, I have not yet tried their brunches but I seen their menusand plan to go back, not a lot of places that do breakfast on Sunday around the Lakes , when,Twin 6 is from 6 to noon, the experience ,refreshing,...

My daughter made reservations here for her 21st birthday. We enjoyed ourselves but the employees were very rude. I understand they were busy but the way they spoke to me my son and one of our guests was NOT called for. I find it hard to believe the owner keeps employees like that on his payroll. The female behind the bar needs walking papers to have someone ask a question and her whole entire demeanor was despicable. Would like to thank Josh behind the bar thank you so much for intervening and listening and serving me the way a person should be. Thank you for apologizing for her behavior but in all honesty it wasn't your place to do what she should have done herself. But I do thank you it was appreciated. Owner needs more like yourself. The dark haired server you need walking papers as well our guest in our party asked you a question the look on your face as you rudely said THATS NOT MY JOB was not called for very unacceptable. At one point in time there was another man behind the bar that I guess was rude but I wasn't there at that time to see for myself. The women I was there. I like this place it's a nice place i will return but will not be served by the rude women that work here I will walk out first. Its sad that myself and guests I had here had to be treated so rudely. If this wouldn't have happen I'd gave this place 5...

I went to the Event Center back on the 29th of June for a friend of mine wedding. I thought it was a BEAUTIFUL place. The wood interior was beautifully decorated. The food was delicious and as a wedding guest SOME of the drinks were included you HAD to pay for liquor and certain beer, some beer was included. It comes with security (just in case, you never know). The only issue I see was the parking lot is just gravel and (to me) not laid out good. Also the day of the wedding it was HOT/HUMID out and the wedding was outside. When we came inside with all the people the air conditioning system didn't seem it was working (it was working as it should) with all the people inside though it was stuffy... All in all a GOOD place to either hang out and have a...

We cannot say enough amazing things about Sylvan Cellars as our wedding venue! From start to finish, everything was absolutely seamless. Rachel was incredible—she orchestrated every detail with such care and precision, right down to the final minutes of the night. Ty went above and beyond, constantly checking in on us and making sure we had everything we needed. He even stepped in to help with the processional music, which was such a relief since we didn’t have a DJ. Their entire team worked so well with our photographer and family, making the day feel effortless and stress-free. Thanks to their coordination and support, our wedding was everything we dreamed of and more.

The venue itself is gorgeous, well maintained and the hand hewn beams are phenomenal. Unfortunately the women that run the establishment are extremely rude. I'm not even talking about their super strict rules. They don't show up when they say they will for pre-decorating events, they charge an insane amount of money to run the AIR CONDITIONING, which works poorly FYI. The owner/manager had rude comments about our chosen decor, she refused guests WATER on a 90+ degree day. Someone really needs a lesson on hospitality, especially if they're going to charge THOUSANDS of dollars for a single event hosting.
