The͏ best experience we have had with a realtor during a property exchange! We had been looking for an investment property for quite some time and we had been watching this 80 acre parcel so when the parcel was lowered to where we thought we could afford it we reached out to find out about it. Luckily my son knew Brenda Halen so we drove down to their office and inquired about it but Brenda was out so we left our personal information and headed out, personally I assumed from past experience with realtors that we may or may not be contacted and who knows when so we stopped at the local pub to have a beer and drown our disappointment of not being able to talk to anyone. The great part of this story is that I hadn't even finished my beer when Brenda called me back and explained the details of the property, what was refreshing about Brenda was she came across like a friend we have always known, she not only pointed out the good things about the property but also some concerns she wanted us to be aware of so we would be well informed before our decision. Brenda set up a meeting with us at the property early in the morning even though she already had a busy schedule for that day, she showed up on time and came very well prepared to answer our questions and any concerns we may have had. After our meeting Brenda explained the lay of the land so we could walk it and she left to start the rest of her busy day. After myself, my wife and son walked the property I knew we wanted it so once I got to cell service range I immediately called Brenda and told her our great news, Brenda had concerns regarding utility easements so she asked me to hold on and she would be back in contact, when Brenda called me back she was unable to give me a yes or no answer so she wanted us to be totally aware of any obstacles that we may encounter in our decision, that professionalism and honesty really stuck out for us and we found it very refreshing after having had a few bad experiences in the past when we were buying.
