Before driving down to visit Mammoth Cave in KY, I made reservations for the Frozen Niagara tour. Be warned. You need to make reservations in advance or you may not be doing any of the tours. This is 1 of 2 easiest tours. With that said, my group met at the designated spot and loaded the bus. Only way to the Entrance. 10 minute drive later, we were there. The Park Ranger tour guide read us the rules and we line up to go in. Funny to see a revolving door to enter the cave. Inside it is a cool 58 degrees. A slight decline and it levels out. Beautiful formations throughout.. There are a few spots you may have to bend down so you don't bump your head. Near the end of the cave before going back, you have a choice of descending 49 stairs. If you go down, you have 49 stairs back up. The view down at the bottom is very nice. Only way out is back the way you came. Tour is a little over an hour and worth the cost. Thanks to the Park Rangers who took us on this tour....

Funny, we paid to be on this tour and to see the sights, and was told to take as many...

The tour in this part of the cave is relatively short, but you still get to see a bunch of interesting formations and tons of cave crickets...
