Dollar General — Local services in Keosauqua

Literally the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. I normally wouldn't say anything would just chalk it off as a bad day for the worker, but this was ridiculous. I stood at the counter for 5 minutes or so. I then found a worker & asked politely to be checked out. The lady yelled at a man named Doug who was sitting in what appeared to be some kind of office behind the counter. He yelled back some curse words & continued to eat out of whatever kind of snack food bag he was eating. I proceeded to stand there another 5 minutes thinking that maybe he would get up. He didn't. Very friendly staff, and very helpful. Always making people feel good about shopping there. It’s always a happy, and calm environment to be in. All the staff is working as hard as they can to make their customers happy, especially with the chaos going on, and in other times. Store manager is always there hand and foot trying to help you, even does the shopping himself for the elderly, along with the employees. I haven’t seen any other Dollar General store in Southeast Iowa do this for their customers. 5 stars!! Wish there were more! Awesome...
