Feisty Fish Poke — Local services in Kerrville

The best poke I’ve had in Los Angeles, Feisty Fish Poke is also officially my favorite food truck!

The Ponzu Scheme Poke Bowl ($20) is absolutely delicious! It comes with yuzu ponzu marinated yellowfin tuna, and all poke bowls come with seaweed salad, cucumber, and fluffy rice. The yellowfin tuna tasted extremely fresh and had the perfect texture, and I loved how the refreshing chilled poke paired with the warm rice.

The owner Jeff is friendly, personable, & knowledgable, and everything seems extremely clean and fresh. I also liked their branding - great color choices, and for The Venice Fest street fair, they had blow up palm tree decor.

Very dissapointed with the food that I received. In the picture, it looks like it is two big scoops of fish, along with avacado.

However, what I received was a small box, around the size of my palm. There was only one scoop of fish, and no avacado to be found. On top of that, the sauce had a strange chemical taste.

The picture and advertising at the food truck makes it seem like you will receive a plate of food, but rather it's just a tiny box!

The food was also 20$ for that tiny box.

Tried Feisty Fish over the weekend and I'm still thinking about it. Every bite was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. My favorite? The Fuego Mayo -- spicy, creamy, and SO addicting. My friends and I devoured everything in minutes.
