RUDE TO THE EXTREME! I have no idea whether or not they are good caregivers, & I will never know now. I had a large donation of cat food & was told about this place by my vet. They were quite nice on the phone when I asked if they could/would accept the donation, but it was a different story when I arrived. I brought my dog inside with me upon arrival since he couldnât be left in the car alone. He & another dog immediately began to rub noses, etc., but another dog that was easily twice his size went into the crazy snarling bark. So of course my dog responded in kind. Some woman came running out screaming âyou need to leave,â âyou need to leave,â repeatedly. âJust go outside & wait,â all in a very nasty manner. I said, âHe didnât start this!â to which she responded, âbut heâs the biggest.â đ¤WHAT THE WHAT? That was ridiculous! Not to mention that the dog that started it was twice his size. So Iâm outside in the heat of the day. Fuming. I opened the door & asked to see âwhoever is in charge,â & she said it was her. I asked if she treated everyone this way, & she finally asked me if my dog had an appointment. Thatâs when I told her no, that I had called the day before about making a donation, but no longer. I told her they would never get anything from me! If she had come out & assessed the situation before screaming at me to leave, & maybe saying something like, âletâs go somewhere else before this escalates,â in a kind way, it would have been different. What a horrible person. In telling a friend about this, she said (before I even finished the story) that she âwas not a fanâ because she also had a bad encounter with some woman there. She said it wouldnât surprise her if it was the same person.
THIS IS IN RESPONSE TO THEIR RESPONSE: I donât know how you can sleep at night knowing what a liar you are. You are trying to rewrite history, & Iâve now spoken to several other people who have had similar experiences with you. I reiterate, STEAR CLEAR!
Oh, & never fear! I found someone with rescue cats that was happy to accept my cat...
Read moreThis establishment will get zero stars from me. Long story short. The customer service is the absolute worst! I actually was told by one of them there that â well, I donât know what to tell you!â I brought my dog in 3 weeks ago, she had a set of vaccines and a pre surgery check up. I go in on a Tuesday morning, just like they told me to. I was there at 7:30am just like they said to, and NO APPT. ! So I ask about it, they literally told me she had no appt and that she never had a pre surgery check up. Proceeding to argue with me about it they show me their paperwork, yup I was there on the 20th but nope no check up. I asked them â do you think me missing work and randomly showing up here at 7:30 am was made up by me?â She said....â I donât know what to tell youâ So my wife calls and questions them. They said the exact same thing â I donât know what to tell youâ they then go out of their way to call my wife back and tell herâ you might want to find another place to goâ we were dumbfounded at this. Who does that? I then went to Hoegemeyer Animal Hospital that same morning. Funny enough they actually apologized for Freeman Fritz. đ too funny. They told me â that is too bad for you inconvenience and we will take care of you. And if youâd like , you can leave her her now, we will do the surgery in the morning. That way you will not have to miss work again.â â we will also give you a nice discount on the boarding for the evening â â again we apologize â keep in mind these two establishments have nothing to do with each other. At any rate. Save yourself the aggravation, go somewhere else. Iâm actually glad I did not leave my pet there. If the customer service is that bad, imagine what the surgery...
Read moreI called the place for a kitten that had been injured and I asked them if she would be OK with a kitten since we have one thay is 4 months old and the MANAGER of the clinic told me she was fine with other kittens and that she played other kittens that age in the clinic. I asked if it would be ok since she had injuries and they said there should be no problem. They even sent me an email saying she gets along great with other cats especially youngsters. They told me to fill out the application and I did. They called me that morning asking if my kitten had been spayed/neutered and I told them not yet but we had just got her and we want to. They called me later that same day and said they gave her to another person because they thought she shouldn't be with a kitten even though I was told she plays with kittens all the time. They said but hey we have another kitten that is a male that is great if you want him. I recently read she was adopted out to a family with a dog so I don't understand how if they thought she needed I guess a safer home because of her injuries they would tell us that she wouldn't be good with another cat (even though she is around them all the time) now she lives with a dog. Basically they bait and switch you at this place, take your information and tell you one thing but then change their minds later after making you start the adoption paperwork. Terrible...
