Laatsch's Piggly Wiggly — Local services in Kewaskum

I'll preface this review by saying this Piggly Wiggly normally is my go to local grocery. It's well stocked, has good variety & their deli is the best of any other Piggly I know. The hot food bar selections are always delicious. Unfortunately, they fell flat on their face with the Thanksgiving pre-cooked family turkey dinners. It was our first time ordering this. It was terrible. The turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes & gravey were bland & tasteless. The little we ate didn't sit well actually making us sick. We threw away 96% of it. What a waste & expensive hit to our fixed retiree budget besides making this Thanksgiving a bust. The orange cranberry relish had taste but was overbearing. We did keep the pumpkin pie but getting through the double thick concrete crust was challenging. Pre-cooked holiday dinners no more but otherwise we're still...

This store was surprisingly very clean and well stocked. I was able to find everything on my list and I was assisted by customer service to find some things I didn't know where they were. The employees were so friendly and offering to help, they we're knowledgeable and efficient. I was using a handicap cart to shop with and was offered assistance bringing my groceries to my automobile. I was definitely very well taken care of in this store. The sale prices of the products I bought were impressive, especially on the Prime Roast I purchased for my families New Year celebration as well as the Champagne and desserts I selected. Always shop here but today, I was disappointed. I normally use the self checkout since I cannot blame anyone but myself on how my groceries are packed. Today the 4 self cgeckouts were busy so I went through the line instead. The cashier is always nice. No complaints there. But the guy bagging the groceries, awful. Thanks for brusing my apples. You don't pack canned drinks on top of fruit and the pile other stuff on top. Young or old, doesn't matter. Treat my groceries how you would like yours packed. Next time I'll wait in line regardless if a line is open. Please teach everyone bagging groceries to pay attention. The town has friend people. Chit chat but please pay attention to how you pack. You don't need to rush. Just do it effectively...
