
Pretty good gym. Cardio equipment selection is decent. Dumbell room has a bunch of slots that are not filled regarding the dumbells. They need to have DBs that are over 50lb, otherwise its pretty pointless for advanced lifters. They have several barbell weight racks with deadlift flooring. There is only one cable machine, so when the gym is busy, it is never open. I offered to help kick off the climbing program, but something about insurance is preventing them from using it! Why spend $50,000+ on a whole climbing section when you won't let people use it? Look into how climbing gyms work. You don't need an employee to belay when there are two climbers certified. Maybe certify one employee and have one day a week that climbers can do a class. That way you dont always need an employee there. It's sorta geared towards being a crossfit box compared to other gyms on post, but lacks pull up bars, and only one set of rings. The pull up bars are also positioned awkwardly. Has a rock wall, and some cool hand strength obstacle thing. Tires and more pull up bars are outside.
My biggest gripe is that chalk is not allowed. Why does it have a rock wall, hand strength obstacle, and deadlift platforms if you can't use chalk.
Edit: been taking chalk with me, so far I haven't seen the "no chalk" sign again since...
