Why is it that y’all constantly have moldy or expired food!? Almost every time i go to the store I either see a moldy pie or my lettuce goes bad the next day or I missed that a item I bought expired TWO WEEKS AGO! Shame on me for not checking but if I worry I need to check all of the time that’s a store problem. Y’all are literally the only store I’ve ever been to that constantly has this problem. Even when family or friends visit THEY know they need to check y’all’s food. I mean for the prices y’all have y’all need to do better because I’m not rich enough to be throwing food away the day after I bought it. Like what is going on? When trucks of produce come in do y’all let it get hot before putting it in the coolers? And really y’all only truly need to be checking dates on dairy, in home baked goods, and produce but y’all obviously are not. If Market Basket of Kinder is nothing else, it's certainly consistent. By that, I mean the pricing system is either a huge score or a complete bust, but it's consistent with its higher margin prices with the added benefit of crazy low sales. Market Basket is also the best place to get hand-cut, great quality fresh meats in the butcher department. They also have BONUS programs where you can save "stamps" from purchases, to apply toward kitchen ware such as Rachel Ray pots/pans, ONEIDA cutlery sets, etc. In conclusion, if the consumer wants to get the most bang for their buck, it is solely up to him or her to shop the sales.

Market Basket is our small and only home town store. Their remodeled store is really nice, a great improvement. Their prices are high but being in a small town, it's expected with no competition. The selection is pretty good, better than it used to be, and they do appear to be better stoked. They have sales and offer specials, including 'Meal Deals', a boxed meal with all components to create a family meal.
