The soft shell crab (purchased in late November) was really not that great (pretty bad), definitely would not make another soft shell crab purchase from this establishment. Although November is late in season, I’ve had a good frozen soft shell crab in December/January from a different vendor. The money I wasted was definitely a lesson learned.
NOTE: I have not tried any of their other fish, and the crab may have been a one time thing. Just dont try the soft shell crab in late November.
From looking online, I read that NC crabs need warm temps to lose their shell, and by late November their hard shells should regrow.
