This company needs to reevaluate who they put in leadership. My experience with this place is either been fantastic or the worst. Most of the employees are great and very friendly but then there are some like the manager Ashley who are very rude, unapologetic and do not care about the customer. She does not care to solve problems, de-escalate the frustration, or has any people skills. The day before with my purchase I was assisted by Lee and he was no better. I was in between the two models and I was looking for assurance and clarity between the two. He clearly was done for the day and was not interested. He went and got Shawn to help me and Shawn was helpful. It’s a $700 leaf blower, I want to make the right decision. Just stand there and listen if nothing else. *I don’t believe you ever started my leaf blower Lee. This was around 4:30 I add, not right at closing.
When you buy a $750 leaf blower, get home and it does not start. It is very irritating. Stihl requires there dealers to start the equipment before leaving the store. Yall did not. The engine was getting no gas. When I told her I wanted a different one I got all kinds of attitude and no apologies, hell she couldn’t even turn around from her computer screen to talk to me. I guess she expected me to go without and wait for this one to be fixed? Definitely not. I preferred the other model anyway and stated I wanted that one. This is the second Stihl equipment I have purchased here and it will definitely be the last. I want to commend the lady at the register and the gentlemen on the floor who assisted me, their customer service...
Read moreThe convenience doesn't outweigh the issues.
When I go into a store I go to buy, not to shop, so to be asked by the employee of I was sure I wanted that particular item isn't a crime, but the condescending attitude I got because I didn't heed his advice is. The item worked fine for my odd but intended use.
The second one was at the start of the pandemic. We were on lock down in another state traveling back to NC by car and they were finally having a paint sale. I couldn't get in till after the day the sale ended, but the girl on the phone told me they would honor it as long as it was first thing. I got there as they opened. The paint counter told me the sale was over and they would not honor it. One day late due to a national emergency!!!
The last infraction did it and I'll not go back nor recommend them to anyone.
We're still in a pandemic with a national coin shortage. We've all been asked to do our part. I am by using my card as I can. This purchase was no different. So when I'm told that I'm being charged 50 cents to use it, I find that unpatriotic and counter to the national effort. If I bought more they're wouldn't be a charge though! That's not cool!!
I'll take my 50 cents and go to the big box stores from now on!! They don't seem to have these issues... Including honoring late sales of there's a...
Read moreI love Mountain View home and Hardware it's a great place to shop really good equipment. They waste no time to help you find something you're looking for. Unless they're busy with another customer but as soon as they are done with the other customer they come straight to you. Which I really do like . Very friendly people the only small problem I have is. The store is a little pricey but they carry high quality stuff so you pay a little bit more. It's not bad for good quality product but sometimes your pocket can't afford that but besides that I love buying product from there. Just wish they had some really good sales once in awhile - kind of like Harbor Freight does but like I said they carry high quality products too. Plus the customer service is just as good or not better as Ace Hardware. I do not want to compare this place to Lowe's or Home Depot because neither one of them holds a candle to this company. But can we hook up homie up with some coupons or something LOL or some really good sales like hear have this for free...
