We went to Henry's for the first time for our anniversary. What a great choice! The inside, when you enter, is very welcoming and well decorated and cozy. The hostess was very polite and seated us in the diningroom right behind. My first impression was that I loved the soft and darker lighting in the room. They have higher tables, smaller tables for only two, and also larger tables and booths for groups. Our waitress greeted us kindly and was very warm and personable. For appetizers we chose the stuffed mushrooms. They were delicious. My husband ordered the steak and asparagus and side salad. He told me it was done perfectly as ordered. I opted for the salad with steak bites grilled to order. It was amazing. The loaf of bread with our meal was warm and fresh with butter on the side. For a surprise dessert we were treated (by them) to a shared large piece of chocolate cake with chocolate sauce in the middle topped with whipped cream and a candle lit for our anniversary. It was a lovely sit down meal. Some of the prices on the menu may seem high, but it really is worth it for the quality of food and service you get. You would pay far more in a big city. I have included lots of photos. So many are authentic Ford and Kingsford antiques. I love that the owners took time for extra touches like that. I wish the owners the best of luck with their restaurant. I love the outside bar area too. Thank you to our kind waitress and to the kitchen staff who prepared our meal. We...

Let's talk about the serviceāor lack thereof. The staff seemed like they'd rather be binge-watching Netflix than taking our orders. It took ages for them to even acknowledge us, and then our food took forever to arrive. Our server kept disappearing, and we had to flag them down just to get a refill on our drinks.
Now, onto the steaks. I had high hopes, but they were tough as old boots and totally lacking in flavor. It was like they'd never heard of seasoning or a proper grill. And don't even get me started on the sidesāthey were about as exciting as watching paint dry.
And the prices? Let's just say they were way too high for what we got. I felt like I'd been robbed, honestly.
Overall, Henry's Steak House didn't exactly knock my socks off. Between the lackluster atmosphere, slow service, mediocre food, and inflated prices, I'd say it's probably best to give this...

We sat around drinking and visiting, wondering if we were supposed to go to the bar to order or if a waitress would come around and take orders. One table received food, and the rest waited about an hour before our orders were taken.
Once the orders were placed, appetizers were delivered in short order, and food soon followed.
Mozzarella sticks were fresh, light, and fatāthe standard for Mozzarella sticks.
We both ordered NY Strip and garlic mashed potatoes. It was wonderful. Tender, flavorful cooked medium rare like I ordered. As a side note, a customer across the table ordered a medium well filet mignon. It was rare. So rare she had to send it back.
About 45 minutes later, I was hit with horrible stomach cramps and liquid diaherra. For hours. Absolutely awful.
But the food was so good, I would risk it and eat at...
