I contacted Chef Capaldi about gifting two meal prep sessions for my mother in law for Christmas. His email response was very prompt and he set up a phone call with me to discuss details. Following the call, he emailed a comprehensive dietary restriction and preference questionnaire, which was very helpful because my MIL does have quite a few. She is from Rome and can make a shoe taste delicious so I was very nervous having someone cook for her because of her standards. She also is very particular with having a clean kitchen. Well, Chef Capaldi over delivered! He was fantastic! The food was outstanding and the presentation was so pretty that my MIL didn’t want to ruin it by putting her fork to the food haha. He left the kitchen cleaner than he found it. My MIL was in the kitchen the entire time and they engaged in conversation in Italian, which made her day. The entire meal planning process was beyond all of our expectations and would highly recommend Gianluca for all of your cooking needs. We hope to have him prepare a meal for a special party in the near future. My MIL is not easily impressed and she gives Chef Capaldi a rave review! I only wish that I had some photos of the food to share, but she ate it too quickly to even think of taking...

We had the honor and privilege of having Chef Gianluca Capaldi cook a delicious meal at my home to celebrate my parent’s 40th wedding anniversary. From the very beginning, Gianluca was a delight to work with. He is kind, highly responsive, detail-oriented and super organized. He clearly laid everything out for me and made the entire planning process a breeze.

Chef Capaldi prepared a delicious five course meal for my family that we are all still talking about! From the most special cheeseboard, to the best Caesar salad we’ve all ever had (!), authentic rigatoni alla Norma, filet mignons that truly melt in your mouth, finished with homemade Italian cheesecake, limoncello & espresso — the menu and the evening were perfect. Chef Capaldi paced the meal perfectly and made sure we all had everything we needed to enjoy this lovely meal together.

Chef Capaldi is a kind, honest, hardworking man and a very talented chef. He was a pleasure to work with from start to finish and we are so grateful that he made such a big milestone event so lovely for my family.

Outstanding Meal and Experience!

We had the pleasure of enjoying a truly memorable 5-course meal prepared at home by Chef Capaldi for our group of 6 adults and 5 kids. Each dish was a masterpiece, beautifully presented, perfectly timed, and absolutely delicious.

We started with a delightful spread of Italian cured meats and cheeses, bursting with authentic flavors. Next, the Kale salad that was crisp, fresh, and perfectly balanced. For pasta & main courses we had Rigatoni al Ragu, which featured perfectly cooked pasta with a rich, savory sauce, and the Filletto Al vino rosso which was a tender steak expertly paired with a red wine reduction. Dessert: The tiramisu was the perfect ending, followed by espresso and homemade limoncello to round out the evening.

The meal was paced flawlessly, allowing us to enjoy both the incredible food and wonderful conversation. Everything felt seamless, showcasing Chef Capaldi's incredible attention to detail and talent.
