What a hidden gem! We recently visited Heronswood Garden, and it completely exceeded expectations. The layout is both peaceful and beautifully designed, with clearly marked pathways that guide you through a stunning variety of plants and flowers. Every turn felt like walking into a different world—lush, vibrant, and so well maintained.

There’s a perfect balance of open garden space and shaded forest trails, so it never felt too hot even on a sunny day. The garden beds are labeled with plant IDs, which makes it a fun and educational walk for anyone who loves botany, landscaping, or just being outdoors.

Staff and volunteers were super friendly and welcoming, and the entire atmosphere was calm and restorative. Definitely worth the drive if you’re looking for something unique, photo-worthy, and grounded in nature. I already can’t wait to go back when more is in bloom!

Pro tip: wear comfy shoes and bring a water bottle—there’s...

DJing for a wedding a Heronswood was lovely! The square garden setting is so beautiful and smelled like a florist shop! Some things to note: The south corners of the garden have the best shade during the summer afternoons. Getting things level on the flagstones isnt terrible. The tent area is lovely and there's a power outlet in the corner. I would prefer to be set up as close to the dance floor as possible and not shoot sound over tables, but it worked out OK. Load in/out is was pretty simple with a cart, and not too far. Lighting inside the tent was very lovely and not too bright. My uplights started to pop around 8pm (early August). The coordinator with the venue was awesome, and I would love to...

Absolutely magical place. The trails are extremely well maintained, and we found the one we explored to be wheelchair and toddler friendly. Some of the trails seemed a little narrow for a wheelchair but the vast majority were fine as long as you don't mind riding on gravel .The gardens are so gorgeous and colorful. The different gardens are all beautiful in different ways. The staff was incredibly friendly and answered all our questions. There is tons of parking and a great little gift shop and plants for sale. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing outing. There are lots of nice places to sit and think or take in...

Absolutely beautiful gardens with lots of area to run around and explore. Good for kids. Super friendly staff. Gift shop and plants for purchase. Highly recommend. I love that it’s owned by the SK’lallam Tribe.
