Kinston Drag Strip — Local services in Kinston

Test and Tune night has been taken over by some wannabe car club "252" that just go back and forth with the same guys racing in a "$500 grudge match". Paid to get in and race and sat in line for an hour while all the 252 guys got to go in front of all those doing Test and Tune until they shut down the track. When we complained the owner himself said "if other people are going in front of you whose fault is that?" (Guys working there were directing people in front of us) and "252 started on Test and Tune night so they should race on this night" because there aren't 6 other nights you can do sanctioned events...

I just stop by there just a few seconds ago after admiring the drag strip for total number of years had a chance to speak with the owner Mr Bobby Smith and I really enjoyed our conversation to know that we're in this thing called life together and I loved his viewpoint on if we're not Sharp and don't stick close to the Bible we're going to destroy one...

Having driven this track many times as an amateur, it's an awesome experience for drivers testing out their modifications and dialing them in. As a spectator, there's a great time to be had by all. There are concessions, restrooms, and a dedicated radio station broadcasting...
