If you're getting married on the Outer Banks, you NEED Debbie as your planner! We met Debbie when she was working at our venue, the Sanderling, and she was a huge reason why we decided to have our wedding there. We immediately trusted that she knew what she was doing and would help us have the day we wanted with as little stress as possible. During the pandemic, Debbie left the Sanderling to branch out on her own, but luckily we were able to hire her independently to help us plan and design our postponed wedding. She was truly a godsend, especially for us planning the wedding from out-of-state. She knows every vendor on the OBX and has worked with them extensively, and every vendor we met spoke so highly of her. She took so much off of our plates during the planning, and made sure our wedding day at the Sanderling went super smoothly. 5 stars are not enough!! After having my heart set on a different wedding planner that completely dropped the ball, finding Debbie was the BEST thing to happen for our special day! After just a couple of minutes into our very first conversation, I knew we were in good hands. Debbie is so kind and you can tell she really cares about her couples. It's worth noting that I am NOT a type A bride and really struggled with making decisions throughout this process before Debbie came along (even with a very helpful husband). It's also worth noting, I told her we envisioned a backyard beach party, and she convinced me right off the bat we could still have our intimate beach party while providing simple and meaningful touches to make it feel like a wedding... and WOW, did she exceed our expectations!
