Had never been there before and after checking with every dentist/oral surgeon around to find out no one could see me for at least 2 weeks and me with a broken tooth and exposed root killing me, they worked me in here immediately. Same day I called. Broken tooth was on bottom, I wear an upper denture. While there I showed him where a tooth had broken off my denture and is attempted repairing it with a temporary kit (that's 11 years old and I bought elsewhere) he took my denture in the next room and worked on it for about 45 minutes and brought it back to me perfectly repaired. Wonderful people. I love the Dentist and receptionist too. I really bonded with the hygienist though. She's a sweetheart. Wish I could remember their names. Can't say enough good about them. We made a plan for work on my teeth and they submitted it to my insurance for an approval and I was supposed to take the approval letter to them when I got it, but I've never received it from my insurance company. If y'all at Horizon see this, should I call my insurance company about it or do we need to resubmit it (in case it was lost in the mail, it's also been awhile). My name is Maureen not Lewisina and I had been dreading the Dental chair for years. Last Dentist named Timothy as well, after I waited outside for 2 hours (one of those Health Dept. Dentists) WOULD NOT EVEN LOOK IN MY MOUTH. He was rude, overworked and looked 80 not 50. I felt like telling him to get out of the business if he does not love teeth.

But this Timothee, Dr. Gansore made up for it. He was kind, patient and Competent! I was worried about my breaking teeth, he pre-anesthetized my severely lost gums and was so skillful at putting the needle in my sore gums I thought I was going to shake and I didn't even feel it. You hear that? He is skillful and loves teeth. He is not afraid. He went on to pull 4 so fast I want to go back for more. He rattles off the numbers of your teeth, those missing, those presenting, their numbers, which side occlusion etc. to the Assistant and says it so soothingly that you are not embarrassed but feel important. Your mouth is important. He is so good at it, he does it without even straining to look. You feel loved. He loves your teeth because he loves teeth and I feel like he loves you too. ...

I called with an emergency infected wisdom tooth that needed to be taken out asap and another wisdom that also needed to be removed and they got me right in and the ladies were so kind especially the dental hygienist that numbed me , I have such a fear of dentist and she assured me his bedside manner was amazing and that he was very good at what he does, first of all she was right, doc told me it would hurt a little when he gave me the shots in the roof of my mouth and I didn’t even feel it! His hands were so steady and he was very gentle and he got both wisdoms out in one piece even though one was broken!! It only took me 45 minutes in that office I’m home now and the numbing has wore off and I’m still in no pain whatsoever❤️ I highly recommend you try this doctor out and they even accepted my insurance I only had to pay out of pocket for the broken tooth which was not that much!!! Thank you 🙏 all the ladies in the office were so kind and welcoming as well! I will be moving soon to Michigan and I’m telling you I will be driving back to Tennessee for anything to do...
