This place is HEAVEN! I would consider launching an Oldham County tour company just for the excuse to visit this shop over and over again. The food, ambience, and service were so flawless that I thought “how could anyone not give this cafe a perfect 5 stars??” And I saw that the only lower reviews were complaining about cost. In a world where the lowest quality fast food is going to cost you at least ten dollars and leave you feeling sick and lonely, why not redistribute 5 more dollars and get a vibrant, homemade, lovingly served healthy meal from members of your local community? I may never know the answer to this existential question overall… but I know that for me, the value of thoughtful homemade food shared with integrity will always tip the scale. Pimento cheese: perfect Cheddar potato soup: iconic, and not too heavy Greek wrap: flavor symphony!!! Perfect vegetarian dish Broccoli salad: crunchy, sweet, creamy heaven (contains bacon) PICKLES!!!! Best sweet spicy dills I have ever crunched!!! Bought two jars to take home. That refrigerator full of sweets and pickles is employees only so just wait patiently and they’ll help you (guess how our party learned that) So much love and joy and nourishment to absorb here.

I have to confess that I had not been to Westport KY in probably 15 years or so , until today just to visit Knock On Wood for lunch with a friend. I had the awesome chicken bacon wrap sandwich along with a side of their wonderful broccoli salad. The sandwich was so stuffed with chicken and other goodies that I decided to save half for later and indulge in their homemade Apple Pie, warmed with a generous dollop of whipped cream, and it was delicious!! It’s obvious that everyone here cares about the food which is really good. My friend had the chicken salad with a side of pasta salad that he devoured without leaving room for dessert. After tasting my Apple Pie he will leave room for dessert the next time we visit, which will be a lot dinner than 15 years. Well done ladies!!

We drove a long way to get here and they decided to close early. This isn't the 1st time this has happened. We even rented a car to get here. The lady is in the shop but isn't going to let us in even though they advertise as open. What a shame! Older review Love this place! My husband and I met many wonderful people over lunch and enjoyed absolutely delicious food! You feel like family here. Shopping is a pleasure with so many beautiful, unique, and meaningful items.

This is the most wonderful Cafe and mercantile store ever for so many reasons. First, the FOOD is so delicious and fresh. The desserts here look and taste like the most decadent desserts you could ever imagine. "A Baked Goods Lover Dream". The store has the cutest and perfect seasonal items to decorate your home with or purchase gifts for others. The clothing line and jewelry are fantastic, with top-quality trendy items that are gorgeous. The owner and salespeople are truly genuine and very friendly. My husband and I had a wonderful drive to Westport from Louisville and felt welcome there. I will be returning and bringing friends. This is a wonderful day to spend with your gal pals at or your significant other!! What A GEM that Westport KY can claim as its own! Love, Love, Love...
