The Shipping/Receiving Office opens at 8 AM. Be prepared to provide your trailer and truck plate numbers, as well as your license. Ensure you have an appointment scheduled and the appointment number ready, whether for pickup (PU) or delivery (DEL).

Once assigned a dock, you must slide your tandems, unhook from your trailer, and park next to it. Failure to do so will result in your load or unload being delayed.

I m a carrier operator my appointment is at 10am and I m coming late one hour because of the previous load that delivers on 8am at port Houston and receivers was not on the receiving point so I delivered that load late and when I m in DHL shipping office shipper says you are late so your load was ready at 12:30pm. I m waiting on the ramp after I received a call from shipper but load was not loaded & I m waiting & waiting no one comes to ship the load till 2pm. After again I go to the shippers office & asked my load was not loaded I m awaiting a long they says you are coming late so your load loaded late. After some argue with the shipper shipper says go to the ramp some ones there to load you. This is the discrimination attitude & I m waiting long only for the punishment for coming late. 2/14/25 The guy checking me was nice but he kept disappearing to the back and when I asked the girls at the desk to let him know I was ready they had an attitude. There is a sign not to knock on the window. I see why if you are not attending to drivers standing there waiting on you to return. They don't seem to be very professional in my opinion based on work ethic and the girls attitude. If a company is paying you to do a job please do it.
