Legacy Sports Club — Local services in Lafayette

I travel all over the Midwest watching semi-pro and professional soccer at many venues in many states. My partners and I have NEVER been treated with such horrifying aggression as we received by the owner of this facility, and his son. He tried to say we didn't have our basic Constitutional rights at his facility, he threatened to have us arrested when he disagreed with our opinion, he made up imaginary times and lied about them being written on the facility's website, and he made racially intimidating remarks about members of my group. We kept to ourselves, and yet he and his son kept inserting themselves into our little group to try and scare us away. When that didn't work, he tried to use the referees as his personal security force (a demand which the referees rightfully just laughed at). He shouted at us over the PA system and made many members of my group feel physically unsafe (women AND men had to walk to the restroom in groups, for great that they were going to be attacked by this owner, the son, or their staff). We had visible minorities in our group, and they too were shaken. All of this happened with dozens of small children present at all times.

What a HORRIFYING, UNSAFE facility. Never attend...

This place seems to be all about making money rather than providing a good experience for players and spectators. They charged my girlfriend $4 just to watch my game. They also don’t allow you to bring food or drink in so you have to buy their terrible food. Their refs are high school kids that don’t even pay attention to the game and play on their phones during the game and the staff are not nice. In addition, the rules of the facility say you can wear ag soccer shoes but then the owner yelled at me and told me I couldn’t play because I was wearing ag shoes and they had soft studs. I don’t think he knows the difference between ag and fg soccer shoes. I only came to play here because the trec at Purdue is closed due to COVID and I wanted to play soccer somewhere. I love to play but I definitely won’t be coming back here. This has been the worst experience I have had...

Small facility. Their set up is terrible, they stick 4 little bleachers out in right field and ask you to watch the softball game with binoculars. They wont let u bring food in and force you to buy their food so they can make another dime....I wouldn't complain, but their food is TERRIBLE! I sent my daughter for a $3 nacho and she came back with literally 11 chips with cold cheese on them. Not cool to treat a 8 year old like that. This is my last visit here...I have NEVER been to a worse...
