I was in line at checkout today and a elderly man was buy a loaf of bread and two tomatoes. When the cashier give him his total the man said that cant be right. The price of TWO tomatoes was $4.38. Now y'all I know there out of season but there's know way a tomato is worth $2.19 a piece and that weren't very big. Even the cashier said that cant be right and turned to what I think was a manager to ask and this lady said she was to busy to check right then she was on a register. Read moreI was passing thru the area and it was my first time in the store and it was great! They had everything I needed and the prices were comparable to every other grocery store. What I loved most is their service!! When I approached the register, they immediately began unloading my cart. What grocery store still does that?! Then they bagged it and asked me what kind of car I was in and took off to the parking lot. Wow!! They waited for me to unlock the car and loaded my groceries. They never even asked if I needed help. They just did it!! Felt like I had traveled...

The location & small parking lot are still the same, but the name has changed from Parker's Foodland to Renfroe's. The inside of the store has had some major upgrades done and it looks great. The store is clean & well organized and the employees are very friendly, This is my 1st choice for quick shopping and if they don't have what I'm looking for, then the other grocery store in town...
