Lazy and incompetent are the only words to describe the office staff. Let me discuss our experiences in the two short months we’ve been here:
Prior to moving in, the office representative indicated that they wanted to re-laminate the kitchen, bathroom, laundry room and foyer floors. No issues, especially since they were supposed to do it prior to our furniture arriving the following week. Didn’t happen. Contract team arrived late afternoon (approx 4:30pm) the day our furniture and other household items arrived. Boxes were everywhere and since the apartments are small, there was no way it was going to happen that day since there was no portion of the floors bare. Team arrived later the following week while we were at work. We came home to a filthy apartment. White dust was on EVERYTHING. Additionally, the bedroom carpet was soaked in one area (presumably where they moved the washing machine out of the laundry room). Lastly, the laminate in the kitchen wasn’t installed properly and was rolling up at the walls and the nails in the carpet that meet the kitchen laminate were left sticking up only to be found by bare feet. They offered a cleaning service to come by, which was also a joke. Two cleaning personnel showed (unannounced) several days later explaining they were there to wipe off the counter in the kitchen. Seriously? What a waste of everyone’s time. They did send a carpet cleaner out, which was appreciated and they guy actually did a good job.
On MULTIPLE occasions my husband and I have both gone to the office to pick up packages only to be told by various (to include the actual manager) personnel that we had no packages at the office. Only after retrieving the notes from our mailbox, indicating that the packages were left with the front office, did the office personnel “find” them in the same room they looked in less than 10 minutes earlier. When attempting to retrieve our packages, we always provide our last name and apartment number. When I finally addressed this continued problem to Valerie, she stated that the manager had been out and didn’t know who we were and that’s why should couldn’t find our packages a few days earlier. During this instance, there were THREE LARGE boxes in their back room that an older gentlemen found immediately when I returned with the mail notices from our mailbox. (If she didn’t “know who I was” what exactly did she go look for in the back room before returning to tell me that there were no boxes???). I would like to reiterate that this has happened SEVERAL times to both me and my husband.
We filed a work order online to have the kitchen sink sprayer fixed that was inoperable. My husband had to follow up with them in person on the status of getting such a simple item fixed. Their response was that they never got the work order request. Additionally, he explained the poor work from the contractors who replaced the laminate and they ensured they would have someone come out and fix it. It was a month later, after I brought it up again to Valerie, that they sent someone up to look at it and fix the floor.
There have been several Saturdays where no one was in the office for HOURS at a time during their posted duty hours (10am-5pm). Today was no exception. We had a package delivered this morning and rushed home to ensure we arrived well before 5pm to retrieve a package and to also follow up on a lost package that was delivered earlier this week. At 4:30pm the office was locked up tight with not a soul in sight. To make matters worse, when I spoke with the manager at the local post office about the missing package, she indicated that in the past she has had to personally go to the apartment office and look through their back room only to find “lost packages”.
The office staff is all smiles when you walk in and say that they strive to ensure good customer service is provided, but their actions continue to indicate otherwise. They office staff should be horribly embarrassed of how incompetent they come across. Can’t...
Read moreThe apartments are very nice aside from the fact the carpet is old, but that can be replaced. Management has "rules" they have in place for the residents to abide by, but do not enforce. We pay close to $1000 a month in rent with a dog and a garage(since we have 3 vehicles and their limit for parking spaces are 2). We keep out third vehicle parked either in the garage or in visitor parking to be fair to other residents, with that being said we are REQUIRED to have a parking sticker on out vehicle to park, however there are rarely any parking available because of non residents parking. When this issue was brought up to management I was flat out told that parking is a first come first serve basis but AFTER 5:30 I could call the after hours number and they could handle it. I have called the after hours number multiple times and only ONCE has someone shown up, even when it was brought to their attention that vehicles were parked in the road blocking passing traffic. Out garage opener battery was dead, so we took it to the front office to be replaced, 3 WEEKS later it was still not done, what's the point in doing a work order if stuff is not going to get done, especially something that simple? Also, one morning I was letting my dog out to use the bathroom before I left for work, she did her business, I let her back in, and was getting a poop bag to pick it up when a maintenance worker asked if that was my dogs, I said yes(why lie about it?) picked it up and disposed of the poop. When I got home that afternoon, I had a notice on my front door for a $100 fine for having "feces in my yard", where else is my dog supposed to go? Our neighbors above us are constantly making noises like they are moving/jumping/moving heavy objects, when we called about this issue this after hours person kept down playing it and making excuses like "there is just heavy men up there", "they are just having a quiet dinner party", "they said they are not doing anything" like I was crazy and making all this up. I will never recommend this apartment complex to anyone. It is not worth the pay, they do not implement THEIR "rules", and they do not care about their PAYING residents. This...
Read moreApartments are ok would expect a little bigger living room, laundry room and dining room. Maintenance is always behind and does lackluster job, and that is being nice. I was there 2 years and it wasn't a temporary thing. Maybe the company is too cheap to hire enough workers? Also at the end of the lease, we cleaned the apartment pretty good and I expected to get my deposit back. No can do says woodland trail, you owe us over$ 1100 for things other apartments don't charge. New carpet 750 painting the walls 550 new blinds in every room 120. I guess they expect you to leave the apartment in 100 percent condition like you never lived there for years. I got all my deposit back from Laurel crossing but woodland trail is something else. I would not recommend my worst enemy to move here.
I forgot to add we had flooding from the apartment above that messed our carpet up, and ceiling in the living room and was not offered any kind of compensation at all though we had to throw away a nice recliner and our house smelled moldy for 2 months even though I carpet shampooed the living room 3 time's. Also that maintenance had come and tried to fix the laundry doors and was an epic fail. I also put in a work order for the toilets as they were running continually 24/7. Maintenance tightened a screw and called it good. It was not. Innards of the tank were all rusty and not functioning properly. Problem still persisted.
I can't come to Lagrange ga to talk to management I am...
