Just left the Safari. I think that this Venu COULD be great but our experience was anything but that. In fairness the food was reasonably priced. There were pinchos, hotdogs, and corn on the cob. That was the extent of all concessions. There were 2 bouncy houses. The instructions consisted of a sign to buy “tickets”. When we asked for a ticket we were simply told $4.00 and paid. My granddaughter jumped for a few minutes then exited the side to climb back in and I was then told we had to pay again for her to go back in so we went to the other bouncy house and were told we had to pay again to play there. We went into the “reptile house” where there was a gray fox in a cage with his leg hiding his eyes (obviously hiding). There was a sign that you have to pay $5.00 to take a picture. We rode a trolly down a dusty road to a small area in a field where several pens were erected for livestock. There was a large parrot cage that held an injured rhesus monkey. When we asked the animal staff about the large (4-6 inch) gash on the outside of his leg they replied that the monkey goes crazy in the cage and injures himself. Our family is against animal cruelty and we do not believe in zoos. The web page claims this is not a zoo, but I believe zoo animals are treated better. While the staff was friendly we left this experience wondering if it was worth the money and time we paid to drive from the north...

Everything was very high in prices, a lot of greasy food, not just a good greasy burger, Iam saying like the only rice was like when a took it, I made a ball of it and squeeze it, oils spread all over my area and meat was horrible in taste. Animals were very sad, a very hot day and they were without water. It was very horrible for everybody to look at them. A turtle without water, a pond, and was...
