This is not an easy hiking coming back up to the parking lot (going down to the lake, easy) There is a lot of narrow spots along the trail (leading to a cliff). We parked at the creek camping and had to pay $10 for each person in the car to park for the day. Bring hiking shoes and half gallon of water. There is a lot of naturists people there, walking naked and jingling their things around. There is the hot spring and also a cold creek by the side so it is refreshing, if you get stuck or too tired to come back up, there is a $300 bucks fine for calling 911 to rescue you (as we were there, it happened twice). Overall I would say 45 minutes down and then one hour coming back? About 2 miles hike. For me as a person that never goes to the gym it was moderate hiking...
