It's with serious regret that I'm changing my rating to 2 stars because my family's all been loyal customers of both the Bridgman and the Saint Joseph locations since I was a kid. The thing is, at least in Bridgman, the don't seem to care for their customers the way they once had. They operate under the assumption that we (the customers) are lucky they have what they have and don't want to be bothered with enquiries about when they'll have certain items again. I completely understand that we're in the midst of a pandemic. The cost to keep their shelves stocked has gone up (which then got passed on to us... their loyal customers). I also understand that inflation, etc. has limited their ability to keep their shelves full, but none of that is the fault of their customers and they really do need to understand that instead of throwing people attitudes for asking, they could be a little more professional and respectable because without us, they have no business - which means no jobs to keep them all employed. Not their problem, I know but my child has moderate autism and can only eat certain foods. If I need to ask them if they're simply out of something versus no longer carrying it, that's not an open invitation to make me feel like sh** for needing to know. Read moreThe night managers are the nicest people in the world. They come from wherever happiness is made. The store is always clean and the service is great. However... the deli must hire with the prerequisite of being an empty miserable person. Horrible service. Call in at 6:32 to order chicken, can’t do it. Their last fry is at 6:30. Ask for some potato salad as they’re getting ready to wrap it up? Sorry, they are done for the night. Ask them for some help while they are cleaning, they’ve got better things to do. Great store....
Read moreOne of the older women that works there (short grey hair) was rude, unhelpful, and clearly appeared to not want to be there. As a continuous visitor, this was the first time I experienced poor customer service. Should not have been hired. She refused to accept my bottle return slip (bottles I returned AT THIS LOCATION 5 MINUTES PRIOR) and then shook her head when I asked to pay my bill part in cash and part in card. Terrible customer service and I will be avoiding her in store...
