Totally disappointed. Shopped here on a suggestion from my son who purchased a mower and trailer. I arrived to find no sales people outside to greet me. No problem I thought they might be busy. Walked in to the counter and told them I was looking for a mower, specifically, anything better than the home improvement stores sell. They directed me to the corner office where 2 people were sitting, one on a couch and one at a desk. I asked who wanted to sell me a mower. The gentleman at the desk seemed very dis-interested in selling me anything. Told him I had already been pre-approved online through John Deere financing. That did not seem to help. Told me that for zero turns, all they had were commercial ones starting at 9000. I asked about a sub-compact tractor. He said I could get one with a belly mower, would cost about 19,000. Asked if he could show me one, said he did not have one with the belly mower, but could show me the tractor. Seemed very annoyed about having to get up out of his chair. I had already done my research, even know they have trailer/tractor packages with the loader and cutter for 20299. Why would he not at least offer me some option like that. Just did not seem to want to sell anything. I might not look like I could afford it or something, I don't know. I know Sparrow and Kennedy has been around for a long time, and their sales staff is like this, I don't know how they are selling anything. I expect a salesperson to try to make a sale, even ask for the sale. You can't do it from sitting in an office. And when so.eone comes in that wants to spend money, you do whatever is in your power to make the sale. Again, totally...
Read moreMe and my father in-law had bought some belts for a backhoe that needed dual belts and we did not know it since we had just bought it, when i went to pick it up after ordered being placed i double checked with the sales guy if it was really one belt only and he said yes then later after finding out we needed 2 we just thought we had to buy them separately so this time my father in-law went to pick another one up then realized he was given 2 in a pack and we told them last time they gave us only 1 and when confirmed we told them that ours did not come with a pair and was told "well it comes with 2" then after replying "well it did not" he told them that he just wanted to make it right by getting that other single one to complete the pair but he kept repeating in a snarky remark "well it comes with 2" over and over, he could of told us in a nice way that he could not do that since that is their rules but the guy helping us was just being an a-hole so we had to buy a separate one. we dont shop here anymore we just go to Andrews just for the better...
Read moreDuring my previous visit to this store, I was left disappointed. I had taken my tractor to get a busted hose replaced under warranty. However, the lady in the service department was unprofessional and unhelpful. Despite my request for assistance, she stated that they were fully booked and asked me to drop off the tractor and leave it there until they could get to it. She made no effort to aid me any further. Even the parts department was uncooperative, despite the fact that I had recently purchased the tractor from their store. In the end, I had to BUY the hose myself (even though it was covered under warranty) and install it in their parking lot using my own tools. It only took me around 30 seconds to get the job done, but that's not the point. I found the level of customer service to be unacceptable and believe that it needs to be addressed. Therefore, I cannot recommend purchasing equipment from this dealer, as the level of service is not up to par when you...
