As a truck driver, I recently delivered a shipment to Floco Foods Inc and had a less-than-pleasant experience. While the delivery itself went well, the unloading process was incredibly slow and caused a significant delay in my schedule. I had to wait for several hours to unload my truck, which was frustrating and caused me to fall behind on my other deliveries. To make matters worse, the woman who received my delivery was extremely rude and unprofessional. Her behavior made an already frustrating situation even more unpleasant. The lumper fee was also quite expensive, and I did not feel that it was worth the cost for the job they were doing. However, I did appreciate the assistance provided by the manager who was able to provide me with helpful information and expedite the unloading process. Given my experience, I would caution other truck drivers against delivering to Floco Foods Inc if they are on a tight schedule. The slow unloading process and poor customer service could cause significant delays and stress for drivers. I hope that the company takes steps to improve their unloading process and customer service in the future, as it would benefit both drivers and the company. Read moreQuite bad. Showed up at 0556 for my delivery appointment. The woman sitting in the guard shack told me to come back at 0600. Just to clarify I asked if she really wanted me to turn around, leave the property, turn around again, and come back to check in 4 minutes later. She said yes. So that’s what I did. When I came back after the 4 minutes was up she took my paperwork and started to check me in. She said that my appointment was for 0800, so I told her I already knew that. She informed me that I’d have to leave and come back at 0730. So I left again and went to the truck stop 3 miles up on US-52. Waited for another hour and a half, then went back again to check in. Checked in at 0736, got a door immediately. Was not unloaded until 1725 that afternoon. Also had to pay a hefty lumper fee. It would’ve been more cost and time efficient to not accept this load, and wait 1-2 days for a different one.
