Oak Hill Market — Local services in Lake Nacimiento

I've visited this market a bunch of times in the past year having a house up in oak shores now which those who know the area is really out there. I feel very fortunate that this market is here it saves me 20-25 minutes of additional driving time to town each way. The bonus is that it's a really great market. Good produce that's always fresh great selection of most items and probably one of the best butcher shops around. They carry a wide array of beef from ranch 1857, Harris ranch, and First Light wagu out of New Zealand and a couple of others. Their chicken and pork are also really good and fresh. The store always has expired products. Extremely overpriced for food that’s not fresh. No Wi-Fi signal and they don’t allow you to use the Wi-Fi unless you’re an employee. I had to cancel my transaction and then go back in because I couldn’t use my phone in the store. Not only that, but then when I got back into the store, they announced to everyone “we canceled your transaction and the bag is in the back. In the freezer” and instead of just going and grabbing it, she was telling me all about it. She had not even finished her transaction with the customer ahead of me. Kinda embarrasing. We are Heritage Ranch locals and feel this is a great grocery store with great service. The prices are higher but they are having to pay for the extra distance to get deliveries. From the time you enter and then checkout, the service is great. While they may not have everything you might find at a grocery store in Paso, my guess is they carry about 95% of what you need. And, you can always ask (I did) to get an item that they don't...
