Four Seasons General Store & Ice Cream Shop — Local services in Lake Township

I have been going here for 20+ years, and these new owners and staff are knocking it out of the park! Much more selection and variety than in years past, with big upgrades in pizza, deli, donuts, and ice cream…along with all of the other standard party store staples (I recall just a few years ago the walk in cooler was off limits, but is now stocked and accessible)

We ordered 3 pizzas and 2 orders of cheese sticks, they were all great, but especially the cheese sticks! Better and more convenient than heading to the M55 strip.

Another night we stopped in for ice cream, and although they were out of Reese’s cups and brownies, we were all able to find something that we enjoyed back at the bonfire.

Only regret is not trying the food truck, so we will be sure to stop by during...

Ok so I'm kinda new to visiting the area . We were up here a few months back and been in and out of the store a few times for odds and ends which they had everything I needed each time. Now this isn't walmarts but for your quick run to the store this is the place. Then i heard they have fresh made donuts (possibly only on the weekends ) not sure. Wow they are great 😋 and then we heard about them having pizza so of course we had to try that too. Ordered a large with pep and mushrooms and yep you guessed it it was fantastic . We've been going to Houghton lake for 40 plus yrs. During that time, several different owners have managed this store. The current owners have made a huge difference in the foods, drinks and ice-cream they offer. I'm impressed by the positive changes they've made. They added a food truck and a sitting area, with a port-a-potty for customers to use. I stop by often to restock drinks and food. We tried several of their pizza selections, 👍.
