Ashley's Consult and Style — Local services in Lake Zurich

I have been looking for a stylist for a few years online and never pulled the trigger because I was somewhat hesitant. I had used stylists at Nordstrom in the past but the really good ones ended up leaving and the ones remaining did not pull the right clothes for my body. Ashley’s name kept coming up on my online searches and I decided to finally go for it and give her try and...I am so glad I did!!! She is non-judgemental and looks at everything objectively because she truly wants you to look your best! She came to my house and did a wardrobe consult and by the end I was left with 13 new outfits out of the clothes I already owned! Then when we went shopping she did all the work for me and pulled items she thought would look good on me and they did! She pulled things I would never have even picked for myself. She also went to stores that I did not frequent such as Anuyu in Lake Zurich.

Being 43, mother of two and married and in a corporate aesthetic profession I found myself in a fashion rut. I have always felt that I knew how to dress but the last couple of years I felt like I could up my wardrobe game but just did not know how because I did not want to look too young or too old and I kept wearing the same things over and over. I am 5”11 and a size 14 and L/XL so I was reluctant that she would able to find things for me. Thank goodness I came across Ashley because she boosted not only my wardrobe but my self-confidence. If you are considering working with Ashley, just do it! At every step of the process she has been supportive and helpful. She put in the effort to understood exactly what I was looking for. She stayed true to my budget and helped me maximize it. She gave great recommendations for clothes I wouldn't think to wear that turned out looking great on me that I'm very happy with.

She helped me find a variety of different types clothes and I left very satisfied. She told me where I could wear outfits, what I could pair it with, and if something didn't look good she told me why so I could avoid it next time. Out of the clothes I tried on, I would say I ended up purchasing at least 70% of what Ashley picked out for me.

Her demeanor is incredible - it's like talking with a friend. She makes you feel at ease and it's a lot of fun to talk to her. I highly recommend and will definitely be looking forward to working with Ashley again in the future.

Edit: A few months later I am still loving the pieces Ashley picked out with me. Some of these clothes I would have never dreamed to take off of the rack and now I wear them every chance I get!! She helped me gain the confidence I needed to wear the style...

Finding Ashley was by far my best "treat yo-self" idea yet. Within minutes of meeting you, she has an idea of styles that fit perfectly on your body type, skin tone, age, and personality. She works with your budget and offers suggestions on stores that will fit best to your needs. Her goal is to educate and offer tips so you not only have a great experience with her, but you can implement these new tips in your future shopping endeavors.
