I visited here with my husband, he's an Owner operator truck driver. He was delivering furniture to this location. Although they have a wide variety of beautiful furniture and selections to choose from, one thing they lack pertaining to some of their staff is customer etiquette. We had traveled for a few hours to get the load there so once we arrived my husband asked a woman as she was coming out of the building if she could direct us to the restrooms. She pointed in the direction telling him where it was but didn't go into show us. She may have been on her lunch break. This warehouse is beyond huge so we proceeded heading the direction she told us, but wound up asking another member of staff if they would mind directing us, we hadn't gone far enough so a few clicks more we arrive. We would have never found the location by ourselves, we would have more than likely walked by it because of its disclosed location. As we headed back through the warehouse, my husband had to turn in his paperwork. Some guy moving furniture rides by us on some type of moving dolly, then after he gets a couple of isle down turns back around and confronts us asking "what are you doing?" With an ugly frown on his face, I told him my husband just delivered a load here and we were just coming from the restroom. He proceeded to then say "you can't be in here! there is the way out!." I told him we know how to get back to our truck and will leave when he's done with his paperwork. He just stood there on the little moving transporter watching us walk away, then he rode off. God knows I truly thank Him for His Spirit that keeps me, I wanted to say more to him, because his concern should have been on doing his job that he's payed to do, which is to move furniture, not hall monitor the people you see walking through the warehouse. Needless to say prejudice is still active in the hearts of many people who are still in a dark place of deception. To be completely honest, my husband and I have purchased most of our furniture for our home from Rooms To Go. But after that incident, we will purchase future furniture elsewhere. Clean...
Read morethe over all experience i have experienced with RTG is their deceitful ways are unacceptable in their line of business. Always advertising on TV like their so great which they are NOT. I purchased the Dumont bedroom set from their store in Douglasville Ga ancipated the arrival to only a nightmare. When the delivery arrived thats when all hell broke out. The dresser wasnt in its original box it was wrapped in a blanket and low and behold. It was damaged and the foot post was on back order for a whole month and a half. Therefore, we weren't able to setup the bed; very disappointed that no one including my salesperson didn't tell me i was get an include set but charged my credit card for it in full. Now that 11/09/18 arrived still no delivery of the foot post which i received a call two days in advanced confirming my delivery date to be told after the fact that the entire set was DISCONTINUED!!! and you can come into the store to choose another set or they can refund the purchase. First of all: i gave away an expensive bedroom set i had when my children were small still in good shape. I just wanted something new for my husband and i. Read moreUnfortunately, the negative experience I encountered yesterday at the distribution center undermines the positive efforts of the store's sales team. I had tried to buy a coffee table in Orlando, which I urgently needed for a project delivery the next morning. To ensure timely procurement and delivery, I traveled ninety minutes to the distribution center. To make sure I wasn't going to miss the trip, I checked the document they gave me what the closing time was and it actually said 9:00 p.m. m.. also call the customer line to verify the closing time and not miss the trip. After confirming this detail with the service line, I felt reassured, believing that I could still meet my client's requirements. Arriving at 8:35 p.m. m., I ran into a staff member who suddenly informed me that they closed at 8:30 p.m. m. Despite my efforts to explain and provide documentation, the person was unhelpful and dismissive, showing a lack of professionalism and customer service skills. He left me talking to myself and he just screwed me in the face. His refusal to further cooperate or offer a solution left me feeling frustrated and disappointed, especially considering my proactive efforts to arrive ahead of schedule. This encounter highlights a significant gap in your understanding and execution of customer...
