Read moreBeen going here for 3 years. Here’s what I have noticed. Front desk is very friendly. All these complaints about them seem to have 1 thing in common. They wanted an exemption to the rules and didn’t get it. Follow the rules as they are stated rules are rules. You aren’t special. Front desk knows me and many others by name. Love them. They’re great. They deal with lots of people lying to them to get in on guest passes. I see it all the time. People go as far as to argue with them over it. They’re just doing their job guys come on let’s be nice. As far as the gym it’s good equipment but it’s overly crowded and it took over 1.5 months to replace a leg press. One of the most popular machines here. Machines often are marked as broken and take forever to fix or replace. But i understand this is a business and obviously they want profits. So selling lots of memberships is only to be expected. Same reason they have more pickle ball courts now. Biggest issue truthfully is most likely related more so to the actual members of lifetime itself. People hog machines for far too long. Some people think it’s absolutely ridiculous if you take more then 20 seconds to rest before your next set and they tell you or insult you to hurry up. People won’t re rack their weights. They won’t clean up after themselves either. The issue is not the staff but most likely the members here. I hope lifetime will start to hold members accountable for their actions. Theirs no need to slam the 25 pound dumbbells on the floor guys my grandma can lift those and set them down as gentle as a feather. Lots of young kids obsessed with the gym which is great but please don’t spill your pre workout powder on the floor and make someone else clean it. While we’re talking about it stop forming groups of 5 around 1 machine and taking 45 mins on it. Staff is great. Management is good. People are...
Read moreWe joined Life Time in September of 2021 and are here frequently (20+days/month) and have never once had a bad experience with the staff; they are wonderful!
Regarding kid-centered offerings: We have 3 kids ages 3-7 and they enjoy the child center as well as the extra activities (rock climbing, fitness classes, etc.). Aside from this, we have been to the aquatic center a few times and have enjoyed this as well; there is a small waterslide duo that the kids like as well as lanes for swimming, an open swim area, and life jackets for the little ones. There is limited seating for parents who have kids attending classes or for those who don't want to swim, as well as a sauna and hot tub. It's a great place to spend family time together.
Once a month, the child center offers a "parents night out" that you can sign up for, which we think is great. We've never signed up yet, but are hoping to take advantage of this soon.
Regarding free-weights/weight room: My husband and I use the weight-room, which is located upstairs and offers everything from dumbbells to squat racks, elliptical machines, bikes, and treadmills. For the most part, we are able to navigate through our workouts without having to wait, but there can be busier days/times (M-T around 4-6pm). We enjoy what's available and see a lot of "regulars"--so we assume that they enjoy the club as well.
Last notes: Our kids love the cafe; they offer healthy snacks for all ages, "real food" (burgers, sandwiches, pizza, salads, etc.), and quick grab & go items in case you need a quick fix or forgot your pre-workout.
The locker rooms have towel service and are clean and dried frequently. The overall maintenance of towels in the weight room as well as cleanliness of the club is amazing, and we are VERY happy. Will continue to basically live here as long as we are in...
