I don’t know what the issue is but I’ve been here since 9:30am for a 10:45am appointment. It’s now 11:15am and I am STILL in the waiting room. I have not eaten OR drank anything in 14 hours and I’m dying of thirst. Worker just came out and called someone else. I like my doctor but to be THIS far off for scheduling is UNACCEPTABLE, especially when someone is fasting food AND liquids. Then you’re told to be here an HOUR before your appointment only to WAIT in case the doctor finishes the prior patient early which NEVER happens. It is now 11:25am and I’m still in the waiting room AND have to arrange an Uber now because my ride has to work. Had my appointment been ON TIME or even CLOSE to it I would not need an Uber. Now this visit is going to cost me “cab” fare. Obviously I would NOT recommend this place. Only good thing so far was the receptionist Andrea who was friendly and personable. If I had my car with me I would have left already. HIGHLY disappointed with this appointment/surgicenter. To be this far off with scheduling is not ok. When I finally did get called the anesthesiologist stuck me five times trying to get an IV before I told him to stop. My procedure was cancelled and rescheduled at a different facility at a later date. This place is disgraceful. If I could give zero...
Read moreSo I was scheduled for a colonoscopy and I received a call from a very rude woman telling me I owe $2000 for my procedure prior to having it done. I said boy you’re the third call today from the surgery center and she said get used to it. You’re gonna get two more this week.. I was flabbergasted by her rudeness and said cancel my procedure and she said call your doctor and cancel it and hung up. I’ve requested an apology numerous times and a call from the doctor which still hasn’t happened.. I will now be an ex customer of the medical practice and will never set foot in the surgery center in Lakewood. How dare you speak to a person like that when they are going to have A procedure done. Suppose that patient/customer was apprehensive or down Which is not my case and that’s the voice they heard, and the face of the organization. How dare you not take this seriously and how dare you speak to a person like that. After all these years, I will find a new practice To have my procedure done. The fact that the doctors own the surgery center and have not bothered to call me with an apology is appalling And tells you all you...
Read moreThe staff at Shore Outpatient is incredible! Maureen at the front desk greeted me with a friendly smile and was informative and comforting as I was there for my first ever endoscopy and was super nervous. I was met by Rachel & Seraphina in pre-OP who both kept me comfortable and relaxed before my procedure. I met with Dr Mahgahis who is of course amazing as well! Highly recommend him for his knowledge & friendly bedside manor. During my procedure I met my anesthesiologist Dr D'Angelo. He smiled when he met me and laughed at my nervous jokes & made me feel comfortable before going under. I awoke to the sweet voice of Nicole, who listened to me ramble upon waking and collected all of the names of all the people I was so glad to be comforted by. At discharge I met Denise, Lynn & Maureen again who genuinely cared to see how I was feeling before leaving. I made a point to learn everybody's names bc it's not everyday you go into a Drs office and EVERY person is caring & treats you the way a patient should be treated. Thank you to everyone at Shore Outpatient. A truly...
