We checked a couple of things off our bucket list by visiting Mackeyville Greenhouse and Farmer's Market: visiting an Amish market and eating a Pennsylvania whoopie pie. We strolled through the greenhouse with gorgeous mums and lots of flowers blooming. We wished we'd bought more homemade bread, but we're only staying a week and can't take it home on the plane! The meats look like a charcuterie board, but they came from a $5 ends and pieces box! What a bargain! We have enough for picnic lunches for the week!

Visiting my brother from Mississippi and he recommended this place for some local goods. It was a great selection with friendly people! Thoroughly enjoyed the whoppie pie!!

We went to the neighbors farm instead (pick your own pumpkins) - we spent a total of $15 for 1 giant 40lb pumpkin, 3 large carving pumpkins, several gourds and squashes!!! We then went to mackeyville greenhouse to look around and saw a carving pumpkin like the 3 we already purchased for 6.00 EACH... GO TO THE NEIGHBORS...
