I don't generally rate food trucks, but this one is the exception. I passed thru Lamesa a couple of times a months and I have seen this place a number of times. Today, I was hungry for lunch and decided to check it out. Google shows a 5 star rating, and now I see why. This guy has it going on!! Food (Tamales)is spot on with flavor both the masa and the filling. It's probably the best Tamales I've ever had. And they are so moist. I got the cheese and jalapeño also hatch chile pork tamale. There is nothing wrong with either of them. The gentleman behind the counter, if you will, is patient and ready to serve. There is no doubt I will return many more times in the future. He also sells frozen tamales in 6 packs of all flavors with heating instructions and care. It was refreshing to someone out there who is still into customer service and care. Wow! This is a little surprise unexpected passing by Lamesa. Donny (I hope i spelled your name correct) is an absolute humbled and kind gentleman. These tamales are made with so much love! The flavor is delicious!! We had the black bean, pinto bean, chicken habanero, and apple & raisin. That apple & raisin is so darn good I was speechless! So yummy! 😋

For a quick meal on the go! Stop here and stretch your body from your trip. The chips were also delicious whatever seasoning is on them. Salsa is so refreshing.

Stopped by yesterday on our way through town and what a treat it was to find this little tamale trailer. As everyone else has said, the owner was super nice. We caught him right as he was shutting off his 'open' light and he was patient and helpful and heated up our tamales for us and they were perfect. Really liked the Chicken Habanero, wife loved the Hatch Pork. Gunna have to route my trips to Lubbock through Lamesa from now on just to stop...
