Family owned business are the best because they understand a family crisis.
My fridge broke down and died unexpectedly last Friday and I was referred by a coworker to these guys. As soon as I called in (I was mainly looking for someone to repair my fridge) I got Stacy on the phone. When I explained to her what was going on with my fridge she had such great knowledge of how my fridge should be running and what could be wrong with it. She then explained the price for someone to come out and fix it.
When I realized that it might be cheaper to buy a used fridge I asked her if they had a trade in policy or could take my old fridge if I were to buy a used fridge from them, she explained that they had a $20 credit for the fridge and they would gladly take it. (even if only to use it for parts)
I was originally trying to get the fridge the next day and she even sent me pictures of the fridges in my price range to try to pick one out before I went into the store the next day. Unfortunately that day they were booked with deliveries so I didn't get same day delivery but was scheduled in for Tuesday (they are closed Sunday and Monday was a holiday)
Yesterday (Monday) they called me in the morning and said that they were able to drop off my fridge!! Luckily for me my husband was home and was able to get the new fridge in and they took the dead one with them. You can just imagine how happy we were that we didn't have to go another day with out a fridge.

Read moreMonths ago I bought a used washer & dryer from Arrow. Arrow gave a 6 month warranty on the appliances. Being that they're used I have had 1 issue with the washer and 1 with the dryer. That stinks, but it happens! I called Arrow and they sent out their technician, Nick. Both times Nick came out to fix the washer and dryer he was SUPER friendly, super quick, very knowledgeable in his field, never made me feel uncomfortable in any way (thats important to us women!), & never made me feel like I did something wrong to cause the issue. I've always been leary of businesses guarantees, because I've had experiences, esp as a single mother, and as a woman, where I've felt that ppl were trying to take advantage of the situation and my lack of knowledge in their field, and tried to charge me for something, even though their product is under warranty, by claiming it was my negligence that caused the issue, therefor its not their problem to fix. HOWEVER, THANFULLY THIS HAS NOT BEEN MY EXPERIENCE WITH ARROW OR NICK. NIck comes to the house, quickly fixes the issue, and when he leaves I've paid NOTHING out of pocket. THAT IS RARE IN TODAYS WORLD. I'm THANKFUL that this business is an honest business, and so is Nick, and although I have had an issue one time with each of the appliances, Nick fixes them quickly and efficiently. Read moreWent to arrow for a refrigerator. We negotiated a price that was 50 dollars below the listed price and I was told that if I paid cash they would also reduce the price by the tax amount. I thought that was a good deal so I confirmed with my sales lady and as she was getting the paperwork together I went to get the cash. When I came back the story changed and they said they would not honor the deal. They lied to me to make a deal and just figured I would pay the higher price when I was sitting at the table. This is what's known as negotiating in bad faith. Be careful when you are dealing with these people. They have a tendency toward telling you what you want to hear and then pulling the rug out at the last minute. My advice-don't waste your time with these guys,
About a year has gone by and now I need a range/oven. I still have such a bad taste in my mouth over the callous treatment and so called "miscommunication" that I am buying a brand new one. It's state of the art and so much more affordable than I realized. And I know it'll last 20 years. Plus it won't be some old refurbished one that's all banged up and inefficient.
