Took my laptop here because I was having problems with the storage capacity! I was hoping to have this guy to clean it up and download new updated software! He only cleared up 4GB of storage space out of 32GB! I understand that I needed more storage space so he had me go out and buy a SD card that was about 120GB and the laptop worked fine for the first hour of use when I got it back from him! I don’t use my laptop for anything but school so I don’t download anything on it! Now the service is fast but in all honesty I should have took my laptop somewhere else for the charge of 60$ just to delete things off my computer and to stick a memory card in that he had me buy for nothing when what I really wanted was to be able to update my software and more storage space! I felt like he didn’t do anything and it was a waste of 60$ truth be told! Other computer techs agreed and now I have to pay someone else to fix what I thought I was paying him to do! It turned in to a bigger project than any of us anticipated. He was flexible, knowledgeable and very capable and ended up staying with us for over four hours into the evening - on the Wednesday night before thanksgiving - working with Hallmark's corporate transition team to help reprogram our secured router for the POS registers. He runs his business out of his home- more specifically the garage. It has tables and chairs and I didn't feel weird being there at all. He has a business sign out front too. You can tell he’s a busy guy as people came and went. I appreciated being told the fees up front.
I left my laptop with him knowing I’d hear back soon. He contacted me the next day to say it was fixed. Luckily it just needed minimal work done but he said if I had trouble within 30 day’s he’d take another took and waive the diagnostic fee.
