Honest review from an easy to please customer with high expectations after spending a lot of money to furnish our cabin. After a lot of research, we picked Logheads because we loved what they had to offer. Overall, we are very happy with our new furniture. After all was said and done, it was worth the very very long wait. I'll break it down for the next customer considering this company.
Appearance: 5/5 - the final product looks great and exactly what we were hoping for. Everything truly is beautiful.
Customer service/overall experience: 3/5 - All the people were very nice. However, from the start there were a lot of mistakes made. Which was surprising as this was a big ticket for them. Attention to detail was lacking, which they blamed on a former employee. We were told 6-8 weeks to get our order. It took exactly 10 weeks and a day to be delivered. The order was placed late by said employee. Backed up a couple weeks for that. We ordered matching sets of everything and were told one day before it was supposed to ship, that the order was written incorrectly and was made in the wrong color and the order would be delayed again. After asking how this could be made right, we were told that "we should be happy with everyone working overtime" on an order that we paid for and were expecting weeks before. I understand that mistakes happen but that seemed inappropriate. They never took full responsibility for delivering late, we just had to wait and figure it out when it finally arrived.
Assembly: 4/5- most of it came preassembled, which was great. Just FYI. The futon does not fit through a standard door, you'll have to take the door off to fit. The beds seemed simple to assemble but they don't have pre drilled holes for the cross braces so you'll need an impact gun. The headboard is top heavy and leans forward as well.
Overall, we're happy with everything. Would we order from this company again? Yes, but cautiously and with lots of patience. It's...
Read moreAs a small business owner I know the importance of customer service. I often tell people the measure of a good company isn't just selling a good product, anyone can do that. Its how they handle a customer concern that is the real measure of a company. I am building a log cabin and found logheads railings online. Their photos were gorgeous. The problem I had was that when the railings arrived I was sent two different mounting styles. Tenon and flush cut. I first thought it was a simple mistake, however I was told this is how they do it. I told them I was not happy but would install them to see how they look. In my opinion they looked horrible. (See photos). To say that I was an unhappy customer is an under statement. I spoke to Donna one more time, sent her photos and she promised to talk to the owner. The owner quickly called me back and assured me they want happy customers and will be sending me new tenon cut railings to replace the flush cut. That is great customer service! Installed replacement rails yesterday. They...
Read moreLast Thanksgiving our family gathered from multiple states in a cabin in the Smoky Mountains. I fell in love with the log furniture there and was inspired to search for similar pieces for our log home. I was immediately impressed by LogHeads’ fantastic website plus their 5-Star reviews across the board! Once I had requested the email catalog I was hooked. Stacey took me under her wing from day one and helped me every step of the way. By mid-January I had placed my order and it was ready for delivery by the 1st week of February. We are still in the process of other home improvements but I am so pleased with the excellent quality and beauty of my new log furniture. The drawers slide so smoothly with barely any effort. The beds are solid and will last for generations to come. I totally understand now why every review is 5-Stars! Stacey feels like my long time friend and I sincerely hope to get to visit the LogHeads Home Center so that I can...
