Bought a fox palm from here and died in a few months. When I bought it, the tips were brown and dry. The person there said it would come back not a problem. They never did and it died. I called them told them what had happened and asked if we can work something out for me to purchase other. I spoke to a guy named Raul and all he can do for me was take off $20 dollars. That’s not fair to me. I paid 150 for the first one, loaded it on my truck, dug a hole planted it at home and he’s only willing to take off 20 bucks which I would have to do all that again?!?! Not easy. That’s not worth it for me. I would not have minded even splitting the cost of the tree as I feel it was not my fault it dried up and died. I have 4 other palm trees I planted which are doing fine. I should have went with my gut instinct and not have bought it in that condition. Will never recommend them or go back there. Which is a shame cause I don’t live too far. I’ve been going to Rodriguez sod ranch since and it’s a pleasure there. I didn’t want to stop coming here but they pretty much forced me out by not working with me. Sorry

To respond back to your answer, your facts are wrong. When I spoke to Raul, I told him it died in December not August like you mentioned. And I paid 150 dollars for it as I have the cc transaction not 129 like you mentioned. The price your guy Raul gave me was 129. So you messed that up also. I have no reason to lie to you about a damn palm tree. I was hoping you would work with me but clearly you don’t want to. And fyi, just scrolling through all your other reviews, I had the same experience some of your other clients did. When I pulled on your lot, not a soul to help me. That’s when I should have left immediately. Not a good sign. I walked around for 10 minutes before someone walked over to ask if I need anything. Between that and the half dead palm tree you sold me for 150 bucks, I should have ran out of that place. It’s clearly my fault for dealing with a poorly run...

Wonderful plants, trees and flowers I drove an hour to this nursery based upon reviews. I’m doing a major overhaul of my backyard and was prepared to purchase today. I drove into the nursery at around 9:30. I walked around, past by workers several times abc then went into the office. No one asked me if I needed assistance, etc not was there anyone in the office. So I decided to walk around again looking for assistance; no luck. So after about 30 minutes decided to call number listed. Person who answered phone told that the folks are probably working? Admittedly the connection was not good; that said still no offer of assistance. I left and now will go elsewhere. I had high hopes; Very disappointed

Update: The owner (Will) reached out to explain the situation. Short staffed, working on committed deliveries etc. I certainly can understand not being helped immediately. I was really just looking to be acknowledged and an indicator that someone would be available soon. I 100% support family owned businesses with loyal staff. I went to the Greenery of Tamoabay because of the outstanding reviews. I’m writing my experience as an off day for them and not the normal policy. The Greenery of Tampabay is by far the best place around to buy quality trees & shrubs at a great price!!! The quality, selection and low prices beat either of the big box stores. At the Greenery there were a lot of friendly workers ready to answer questions, haul plants for you and load your car. (You don't find that kind of service from someone wearing an orange apron or a blue vest.)

We've been there 3 times - the first time we chose 3 large trees and a dozen smaller shrubs. They delievered the extire order to us in an extremely timely fashion. We chose to have the 3 large trees planted by their experts. They did an amazing job and were respectful of our property. Before leaving, they made sure I understood and was comfortable with the detailed watering instructions.

We were so pleased with how everything looked that we went back and bought a bunch more smaller shrubs. Three of the nursery guys came over to load my car! Wow! Such amazing customer service. I went back today because I just had to have one more plant!

People keep stopping by our house and asking where we purchased such wonderful specimens. I have Will's (the owner) number in my phone and have given it to many people. Will has been wonderful to speak with, a wealth of knowledge, and quick to answer any questions. I highly recommend this company. You'll be glad...
