This is true American history! The graveside of Sacajawea is sacred in the hearts of many and should be a "bucket list" for everyone! What an outstanding tribute to her, and what she stood for! Remarkable piece of history! The statue is amazingly beautiful and provides you with a seat to relax, if needed! There is plenty of parking area for many at the same time! The area is beautiful and well kept. Pride and care are felt around this sacred monument, and respect is at the forefront! Our kids learned the story of Sacajawea in school this past year. Knowing we would be close enough to surprise visit was a highlight of the overall trip!
