If you plan to park overnight, do yourself a favor and park as close to gate 3 as u can. I highly recommend you not past the last gate (3). If so, it's a huge block you have to use to circle back around to get back.
Just take a picture of your license plate. That way, he can just read it from your phone instead of yelling it.
Parking OUT THE WAY means ANYWHERE other than in the middle of a travel lane or in front of the docks that's being used. If you assume someone may have to back where you're considering to park and check in, just don't. It's plenty of side space. Folks is going to mess this up, so yes, you'll have to ask them to move because everyone do not have common sense. Other than that, easy backing, pretty simple check-in (very cold, lengthy wait inside warehouse to get door. Bring a jacket)
The gaurd was cool as a fan and the fellas working on the inside kool as a fan. Not to bad.

Read moreYou can park on the street outside even though there are 'No Parking' signs. Trucks will already be lined up when you get there most likely. At one hour to 30 minutes before your appointment time, keep your truck parked and walk up to the guard shack at gate 2. Bring all of your PO numbers, your confirmation #, your tractor license plate #, and your driver's license. They will give you some papers to fill out and then you'll wait until about 15 minutes before your appointment time to drive into the gate.
Pull up somewhere out of the way (some drivers always seem to fu k this part up) and walk into the receiving door to check in. Have your confirmation # ready as that is the first thing they'll ask for. You'll get your door number and you'll go back into it. There is plenty of room for backing up, but there is always lots of action going...
Read moreI had an appointment at 1 a.m. on Saturday, but arrived on Friday at 7 p.m. The truck must be left on the street without entering the warehouse, although parking is prohibited there. Security checked my appointment and gave me a pass to enter at 10:30 p.m. At 10:20 in the evening, complete chaos began. About 25 trucks suddenly started moving and blocked the entrance gate. Then, as everyone squeezed through the gate, the chaos continued in the yard. Drivers began to turn around in the middle of the yard, move in reverse, some left the truck in the yard, and went to register at the office. Those who got the door tried to park. It was incredible. But after 30 minutes, everything calmed down. I had 18 pallets of apples and at 11:45 p.m. I received...
