I hardly know where to begin regarding Big John’s Antiques. The store is always stocked and restocked with some of the coolest and most interesting items I have ever enjoyed admiring. The prices are reasonable. John and Jennifer are well versed in the history and uses of the items too. They are also amenable to making trades and chatting about the items you may already have or are searching for. IF you are searching for a vintage or antique piece/ensemble, they are the ‘Go-To’ folks to consult.
The store is ALWAYS clean and the grounds are well maintained. Each Saturday, they host a SWAP MEET/FLEA MARKET at an extremely reasonable fee. John and Jennifer attract really cool folks. I love meeting the vendors and the guests. They all have a story to tell and are also well versed in the items they offer.
The shop is located on a well travelled road, so there is NO missing it unless you close your eyes. You won’t be closing your eyes when you visit them because there are lots of items to admire— if walls could talk, know what I mean ? While you are there do snag fresh made boiled peanuts. Jennifer makes them and they are quite tasty. There are usually fresh home made baked goods, pastries, candies/chocolates and pepperoni rolls and beverages available too.. Most weekends Daisy is there to greet visitors and vendors alike. I just luuuuuuuv a friendly laid-back pup.

Big John was very welcoming and helped me to find what I was looking for. He also recommended some things I may like based off what I was purchasing (but not in a pushy way). Love this place and will definitely...
