Valley Foods is the rapacious business enterprise of Donald Whipple, (aka "Donnie," "Shorty Whipple") also owner of Donald's Diner. By positioning his businesses to be almost the only option for groceries and prepared food in Lapwai, he has set the stage to control the flow of nutrition into people's homes. The fried foods in the deli are major contributions to the local diabetes epidemic, and by selling actual, nutritive foods at above fair market prices, but selling junk foods at affordable prices, people are forced to make compromising decisions regarding their family's health. There's lots of options in the deli and drinks. Tons to buy but higher prices. I'm mostly here to talk about one of the RUDEST employees I have ever met. She's about average height, short blond hair and wears glasses. My friend and I, go to the deli and get a chicken strip and pay for our other items, just like one does. And she meets us with nothing but the worst attitude than a 13 year old being grounded. Not a hi or anything. Snatches the money like she's starving for it and rolls her eyes giving us change. And skips right over asking if we wanted a receipt or any sauce (in which we did) and ran over to the lady behind us. I'm absolutely baffled she still works there. Everyone hates their job. Get over it. Don't take it out on people filling your paycheck. I hope...

1st time in the store, prices were good sales great! The clerks were very helpful, when I couldn't reacha product came & got them down for me. It has been years since I I had that kind of service.. They sacked my groceries, delivered them to my car & helped me load them. Wish you had more...
